Aromatherapy Certification Program graduate“The power of scent is so strong in impacting how we think and feel”
How three decades of nursing led Edelyn to the oils.
I am a registered nurse of 31 plus years and currently in a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program at the University of Tennessee, where I am also a nursing professor of, and coordinator of, our undergraduate Psychiatric Mental Health Program. I am thrilled to have completed this Aromatherapist Certification Program through Aromahead Institute!
I am a married mother of two children, and many pets in our home from a tortoise, to parrots, and cats and doggies. Yes we are animal lovers! I live in Eastern Tennessee having moved here over 4 years ago from the CT/NY region. The move has been a good one! Looking forward to all the rewards completing this program may bring to my life, both personally and professionally! :)
My next career plan is to embark in starting an aromatherapy business focused on wellness products especially addressing depression, anxiety, sleep disorders, and pain. It is my hope when I finish my NP program that I will be able to incorporate all of what I learned in making supportive recommendations for my patients to try as potential wellness options.
I completely loved going through this Aromatherapy Certification Program through Aromahead Institute. The program is so thorough and the staff and Andrea so supportive and encouraging of their students. I especially liked learning about looking at making blends from various perspectives and learning so much more about how supportive various essential oils can actually be to our well being.

What made the difference, in Edelyn’s words.
Edelyn brought three decades of nursing to the certification. Here is what stood out, in her own words.
Blends from every angle
The program teaches you to look at a blend from more than one perspective.
I especially liked learning about looking at making blends from various perspectives and learning so much more about how supportive various essential oils can actually be to our well being.
Safety a nurse can stand behind
The training pairs what the oils can do with how to use them well.
the absorption of essential oils via inhalation or our skin can be so healing when done safely.
No regrets
She finished the program recommending it to others.
I have no regrets and go forth in sharing the good news of the quality of this program with others.
