How a scientist put aromatherapy to the test.
I am a scientist finishing my PhD in Cell Biology. I study the genomic and karyotypic changes that occur in evolution and speciation.
While finishing my PhD, I've learned that relaxation exercises, physical exercise, and essential oils form a great complement to my traditional treatments for chronic pain and anxiety disorder. I decided to further my study of essential oils with Aromahead Institute and am so happy to have finished my aromatherapy certification.
What makes me distinct from other essential oil enthusiasts and sales people is that my PhD and scientific training allows me to understand the chemical aspects of aromatherapy. I enjoy combining my extensive benchwork in the lab with what I've learned about aromatherapy and home remedies.

As someone with chronic pain, an anxiety disorder, and difficulty relaxing, I know first hand how useful essential oils can be alongside traditional therapies.
