How Shelby brought aromatherapy into sports medicine.
I am a Certified Athletic Trainer that practices sports medicine in Southern California. With the crazy world that goes on around us, our systems are upregulated from the overload and stimulation of our environment which makes us prone to injuries and dysfunction. This adds stress onto our systems which can cause pain and discomfort. With manual therapy and corrective exercises, holistic care should be considered also in treating problems.
I believe that encompassing all the systems of the body and treating them together creates an optimal environment for healing inside and out. I can do this with making personalize blends of essential oils to apply to your daily life to combat over stimulation and discomfort.
I am a Yoga Alliance International certified 200 hour yoga instructor, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, all along with my aromatherapist certification.
