- Understand how to use a carrier: the difference between an essential oil and a carrier oil, and how using them together will help you
- Your course supplies: Cedarwood, Lavender, Sweet Orange and jojoba (nothing to buy to complete the course)
Module 1Let's Start Blending · 1 lesson
- Start blending right away with a daily immune support blend, using the least amount of essential oil for an effective result
Module 2Blending Guidelines · 1 lesson
- Understand how to safely apply essential oils to your skin: our basis for essential oil dilution, and our ratio recommendations for safe use
- A second blend, for emotional balance
Module 3Blending by Intuition · 1 lesson
- Understand which essential oils to use together for a blend, and why we chose lavender, cedarwood, and orange (hint: it has to do with their aroma!)
- The drop-by-drop method, so that you take the first steps towards creating your own blends

Is this class really free?

What do I need to follow along?
Three essential oils (we use lavender, cedarwood, and sweet orange), a carrier like jojoba, and a one-ounce bottle. You can also watch first and gather supplies later.
Is the dilution taught here safe for children?
The dilution Karen teaches, 5 to 6 drops of essential oil per ounce of carrier, is a safe topical guideline for adults and for children ages 5 and up. She walks through it on screen.
How long will it take?
About an hour: five short videos and three recipes. Most students blend along the same day.
