Aromatherapy Certification Program graduate“You too can find your space of healing.”
How a back injury led Sheila from yoga into aromatherapy.
I am a yogini, energy healer, aromatherapist, herbalist, and all around nature lover. Since childhood, I always thought of myself as being different, on the outside looking in. I would walk barefoot in the woods, always looking down as I viewed everything beneath my feet, and believed in the healing energy of the earth.
I saw on a daily basis how pharmaceutical drugs were studied in regard to side effects, along with this it became apparent to me that more and more medications were being given to people in order to mask symptoms and address the side effects of other medications but never really healing the person. This concerned me greatly and I found a need to explore different types of alternative methods of healing.
I started my yoga journey as a result of physical pain in my 20s when I hurt my back and ended up with prolapsed and herniated discs in my lower spine. I went through numerous tests, spent time in various hospitals, only to be told that I could either have surgery or take pain medication and muscle relaxers. Unwilling to do either of these I eventually found yoga.
Since our bodies are made of energy, I eventually added energy healing, as well as Thai yoga bodywork, meditation, aromatherapy, and herbs into my practice.
Last Home Farm
I love assisting and guiding people who are in physical, emotional, or mental pain through yoga, bodywork, energy healing, herbs, and aromatherapy locally and remotely.
In the near future I plan on incorporating healing retreats to further aid in my tribe's healing journey.
The courses were extremely thorough yet easy to follow. I learned so much in each and every unit. I especially loved learning about the chemistry of essential oils. It was so very enlightening.

What made the difference, in Sheila’s words.
