Starting a business to replace toxic products!

Sometimes life takes an unexpected turn.

Your path shifts, and you find yourself faced with a whole new way of living.

That's how Kristina Gagliardi-Wilson began her successful aromatherapy business!

Kristina had started a rewarding career as a professor in a master's program at a university.

Her plans came to a grinding halt when her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer.

With that diagnosis, her life turned upside down.

Kristina became determined to support her mother's health in every way she could. She decided that her family would stop using store-bought products that were laden with harsh chemicals. 

However, her initial research was pretty discouraging. 

It seemed to Kristina that harmful chemicals were present in everything.

She wasn't wrong! When the Environmental Working Group studied over 2,000 everyday household products, they found that many contained toxic ingredients which can trigger health issues like asthma, allergies, skin irritation, and more.

And when these products are disposed of, they wind up in our water, air, and environment. 

Kristina couldn't find products she trusted.

"So what else could we do?" Kristina says. "We created our own."

Kristina dedicated herself to years of in-depth research, understanding how to create truly safe, effective products for the body, natural cleaning, and health. 

Her path led her to Aromahead Institute to master product-making and become a Certified Aromatherapist.

I had received another certificate in aromatherapy years ago,Kristina says. But I really wanted a more in-depth and recognized program. The feedback I received was exactly what I needed to take my ability to the next level. I learned more than I could ever imagine and had fun.

Today, Poofy Organics has an online store as well as a physical location. 

Their team has grown, but they still make all of their products by hand in small batches.
