Bedtime Bath Salts

Anxiety is the number one reason sleep most likely becomes an issue for us humans.

We all like the picture of pre-bedtime stretching, yawning, falling into bed with a smile on our faces, and waking up the following day well-rested. But this hopeful vision isn't what 45% of the world's population experiences. This equates to about 3.6 billion people in 2022. This is a lot of people missing out on much-needed sleep.

Essential oils are our best friends when finding respite from sleepless nights. There are many reasons why we don't sleep as we should. One reason is our frame of mind during the day, especially at bedtime. Regular sleep cycles may mean dealing with our anxiousness and lowering stress levels so that we find inner peace.

Bedtime Bath Salts Recipe uses a combination of soothing lavender with its calming esters of linalool and linalyl acetate, vetiver, which is grounding and calming for our nervous systems, and rockrose, which turns anxiety into calm. The synergy of these oils used at bedtime helps bring our focus and perception into tranquility. Enjoy this recipe inspired by Aromahead's Instructor, Michele. Sometimes all it takes is a great idea!
