How Amo found the way in.
For nearly three decades I have believed that organic products we eat, drink or put on our bodies, whether health and beauty products or cleaning products that we inhale or touch with our hands, are better for our health. I have always believed that chemicals used in conventional products would build up in our systems to a level that is unhealthy and eventually cause serious health problems.
I've read everything I could find and followed who I thought were the experts to learn as much as I could about why what we put on our skin and in our bodies matters. Organic products are more expensive, but my healthcare costs would be reduced because my family and I would be healthier.
In 2011, I first learned about aromatherapy on a visit to Breckenridge, Colorado, and I immediately thought this would be a perfect fit with my chosen lifestyle. In September, 2016, I was on Facebook and an ad came on my feed for Aromahead Institute and the Introduction to Essential Oils online class, so I signed up. At the end of that class I immediately enrolled in Aromahead's Aromatherapy Certification Program.
I am so thrilled to have completed my certification and excited to begin formulating blends generally to sell online and at local farmers' markets as well as offer private consultations for individuals who have a need for a blend specifically formulated for them!
