Doris Laing

Aromatherapy Certification Program graduate
🌱 Certified Aromatherapist

I am excited to be able to offer Aromatherapy to my family, friends and clients to support them physically, emotionally and energetically.

Her story

How twenty years of massage led Doris deeper.

I loved the Aromahead Aromatherapy Certification Program. I originally started with the Aromatherapy for Massage Therapists but soon realized that I wanted to learn more. It allowed me to study at my own rate, learning all about how to safely use essential oils and to blend them with appropriate dilutions.

It was important to me that I was able to purchase essential oils that were pure and this course taught me how to read them and break them down into the chemical families so that I could decifer what therapeutic benefits could be realized. Learning safety and considerations for medical conditions was very important for me since many of my clients have medical issues where some essential oils may be contraindicated.

I am the mother of three adult children and soon to be a first-time grandmother in November. I love the outdoors and spending time with my best friend and husband, Scott by mountain biking, skiing and enjoying our dogs.

What made the difference, in Doris’s words.

Doris came in through Aromatherapy for Massage Therapists and stayed for the certification. Here is why, in her own words.

Reading the chemistry

GC/MS reports turned oil substitutions into an informed choice.

I appreciated being able to learn how to read GC/MS reports so that I could safely substitue oils with similar chemical components but with different aromas.

A mentor through the case studies

Staff support and a case-study mentor carried her through the credential work.

I really appreciate the support from Aromahead staff if I had any questions. I also enjoyed having a mentor to guide me through the case studies. This part of the course proved to be very valuable to me.

Love in the course model

Her thanks name the thing she felt all the way through.

I want to thank Aromahead for the excellent course model and appreciate the love that is demonstrated throughout the course.
