How horses, gardens, and grandchildren shape Jowana's teaching life.
Currently, my work is limited to teaching. I live on a small farm with horses and credit them with my connection to nature.
During spring and summer months you can often find me in my flower gardens. What better place to discover the value of plants?
I have limited classes during the summer so that I can spend as much time as possible playing with my grandchildren.
I enjoy doing research and devote a lot of my time researching for my classes and taking continuing education courses.

I love to teach! You can find my listings with Kent Country Parks & Recreation and the Modern Maturity Center.
I also work with local clubs and groups interested in essential oils. I do private classes and case studies with my students to help them with their essential oils journey.
Teaching allows me to work with people of all ages and backgrounds. Being certified with Aromahead Institute gives me credibility as does my association with the National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy. Essential oils are wonderful for healing and well being but, as I always tell my students "As with anything in nature, you must respect it, not fear it".
