Karen Peters

Aromatherapy Certification Program graduate
🌱 Certified Aromatherapist

Now I am eager to begin a new career as a certified aromatherapist after eight years of retirement.

Her story

How a retired English teacher found a new career in aromatherapy.

My name is Karen Peters, and I am a retired English teacher after 32 years at the same high school. I am the mother to two sons and one daughter and Nana to three grandsons and three granddaughters.

MY daughter and I have been using essential oils for about three years, but I never really felt very competent--that is, until I found Aromahead Institute.

What she's building

Hillside Essentials Aromatherapy

My immediate plans are to consult with clients and to make blends to support their specific concerns. I may also make a few products to sell at the various craft fairs in my area.

In a year or so, I may entertain the possibility of teaching classes on the proper use of essential oils since that old teacher nature still lingers.

I loved everything about this program, but I especially enjoyed doing the case studies. I easily found five eager participants. It was so gratifying to see their amazed reactions each time I made a blend that eased a concern. Michele Mazur was so prompt and supportive in providing feedback and suggesting approaches I hadn't considered.
