Kathleen Lord
Aromatherapy Certification Program graduate“Plants, herbs and holistic methods have always intrigued and inspired me.”
How a principal became the student.
I live in Northern California and am retired after 36 years in Education, first as a teacher and then, a principal. I've been married 48 years to my high school sweetheart and have two grown children and one grandchild.
I read The Secret Life of Plants right after I graduated high school and have been hooked on the magic ever since. Through the years, I have read many books and articles on herbs, healing, and oils, but just couldn't find the time for formal education. Two months after retiring, I enrolled in Aromahead.
Because of the number of "Armchair Aromatherapists" out there, it was high time to learn the facts and chemistry of Aromatherapy. While I don't consider myself an expert by any means, I continue to blend, read and stay in contact with Aromahead. I'm sure I will join a professional Aromatherapy organization to gain access to more resources.

I have treasured the teachings and sage advice of Andrea and everyone else I've come into contact with at Aromahead. I was surprised, yet so pleased to be given such thorough feedback from instructors after each case study submission, term paper and initial exam.I love Andrea's videos; she makes it look so easy.
What made the difference, in Kathleen’s words.
Kathleen spent 36 years in education, so she knows good teaching when she sees it. Here is her report card, in her own words.
Feedback on every submission
Case studies, the term paper, the exam: each one comes back with a real read from an instructor.
I was surprised, yet so pleased to be given such thorough feedback from instructors after each case study submission, term paper and initial exam.
Treated like the only student
A career educator noticing the thing good teachers do: full attention, every time.
I also love the caring and thoughtfulness that each instructor puts into their replies on the Forum or when a question is emailed. It's as if YOU are their only student and always, a thorough answer is given.
Access that never expires
Graduates keep their course material, the forum, and new trainings for life.
Lastly, how generous that graduates always have access to the material they studied, the Forum and new learning through Jenny's training sessions, and other trainings provided by Aromahead.
A clear path, one milestone at a time.
Kathleen is a graduate of the Aromatherapy Certification (the Certification milestone), earning her Certified Professional Aromatherapist credential. One path, four milestones: every course and every hour carries forward, as far as you like, at your own pace. See the full path →
