Lola King is a Registered Aromatherapist (RA) from the Aromatherapy Registration Council (ARC) and the owner of Be Kind Botanicals, Inc. She has over 500 hours of essential oil/aromatherapy training.
Her training includes basic and advanced programs from Aromahead School of Essential Oils, Robert Tisserand's Advanced Certification program for Essential Oil Chemistry and Pharmacology, Cathy Skipper's Hydrosol Certification course, and currently is enrolled in the Atlantic Institute of Aromatherapy's Essential Oil Correspondence program. She is also an active member and advocate for the Alliance of International Aromatherapists (AIA).
She started her first essential oil business in the Fall of 2013 and has continued to slowly grow it using an ethical, honest, and kind approach. Recently, she rebranded it to Be Kind Botanicals.
With a vision to offer the best products on the market doing things the right way, she sources some of the best essential oils and hydrosols directly from distillers all over the world. She does this by scrutinizing the organoleptics and chemistry, while considering the sustainability of those she sources.
She also tests every single batch to verify purity before releasing them to the public, which is no small feat for a small business.
