How Monique learned to do it properly.
I am a married mother of four children. I live in the Bahamas, where natural remedies, plant medicine and home therapy are very popular in older generations.
I became interested in essential oils several years ago after searching the web for natural healing remedies for allergies, the cold and the flu. I started using essential oils without much knowledge initially, not really knowing how to properly dilute them or mix into carrier oils. At that point, I became interested in becoming more knowledgeable about how to use essential oils for health benefits.
So, I began searching for an online school and I stumbled upon Aromahead Institute. I enrolled in the online course in 2015. It took me some time to complete the course because I did not want to rush it, and being a hands-on mother, I had to balance my studies with my home life and children. I also took my time to get a clear understanding on how essential oils work and their therapeutic properties.

I currently make homemade body butters, lip balms and all-natural deodorants blended with essential oils. I plan on launching my aromatherapy business soon where I will sell these items locally.
