How Ruth turned blending for her kids into DeRu Extracts.
I came into aromatherapy due to having 2 children with special needs. After seeing how well they worked with my family, and having a heart for helping others, it was easy to share my creations. I have been blending my own custom blends for my family from my first purchase of 11 intentional essential oils.
It wasn't long until Blends by Ruth Nelson was born. I ran this company singularly from 2013 until March of 2018 when DeRu Extracts was founded.
I really like to research and would do a lot more of it if time allowed. I have been fortunate enough to attend Dr. Timothy Miller's level 1 Chemistry Course as well as Mark Webb's CO2 Course.
DeRu Extracts
Two aromatherapists from two different schools of thought have joined forces. Dedi doesn't like to blend and I was too busy to consider retail of singular oils.
We have both enjoyed sole proprietor small businesses for several years. Just recently deciding to join forces and bring you DeRu Extracts. We are hoping to officially launch before the end of March, 2018.
The thing I like most about Aromahead is the ability to hop online and search for information as need be. I like that I have lifetime access and I wasn't rushed to finish the course.
