These 3 essential oils are great for headaches!

  • Peppermint can bring an immediate sense of relief.

  • Frankincense is known to be a gentle yet effective way to calm inflammation and reduce head pain.

  • Spike Lavender also proves incredibly useful in eliminating tension headaches - its natural components, such as camphor and 1,8-cineole, act fast when easing cramps or tight muscles after exercise.

All three essential oils are perfect companions for those suffering from headaches. When inhaled, they offer unparalleled relief by supporting clear and deep breathing – calming the body right through to its core. The tension stored up in your shoulders, neck, and scalp is released with every breath taken - promoting a sense of peace throughout your being as you slowly become pain-free again!

Escape into relaxation with 3 essential oils and experience their fantastic potential, providing five unique advantages for headache relief!

1. Subside throbbing pain
2. Unwind tightness in muscles
3. Instill an overall feeling of relaxation plus a sense of well-being
4. Stimulate deep, refreshing breaths while calming your spirit
5. Clear away the mental fog to help you find clarity and focus

Battling a headache can feel like an uphill climb, but essential oils help to make the journey easier. Soothing inflammation and relieving tight muscles eases pain quickly, while relaxation, deep breathing, and mental stillness help us reduce stress-related symptoms that often lead to headaches.

This recipe includes three carefully chosen aromatherapy oils for maximum balance in tackling your persistent head pressure!

This is a roll-on blend that you can use either during a headache or before a headache sets in—and that's helpful if you tend to get headaches around the same time every day. There's also an option for a 1-ounce blend.

An essential oils recipe to relieve headaches

Recipe - My Headache is Gone!

Essential Oils:
2 drops Peppermint Oil (Mentha x piperita)
2 drops Frankincense Oil (Boswellia carterri)
2 drops Spike Lavender (Lavandula latifolia)

Directions: Combine the Trauma Oil and essential oils in your 10 ml bottle, then snap the roller-top into place.
Roll this blend on the back of your neck when you have a headache (or don't want to get one!).
It helps to relax your muscles, and the relief radiates up through your head and scalp.

Note: To make a 1 -ounce blend in Trauma oil simply increase each drop to 5 drops each for a total of 15 drops. Add to a 1-ounce amber bottle with cap.

I invite you to view this video where I delve deeper into this specific blend, demonstrating the method for blending it effectively.

Have you ever used Trauma Oil before?

It is a fantastic carrier for natural pain relief blends!

Trauma Oil is a carrier oil (such as olive oil) infused with three inflammation-calming herbs: arnica, St. John's wort, and calendula. (The St. John's wort gives it a gorgeous, deep reddish brown color!)

While essential oils are good for headaches, Trauma Oil alone can create a profound experience of natural pain relief.

But let's add in the essential oils! (We are not going "halfway" on this recipe!)

All three essential oils used in the recipe above are great for headaches because they support deep, clear breathing. Deep breathing helps the body relax through and through, releasing any tension that could creep back into your shoulders, neck, and scalp.
