Aromatherapy Recipes for Fatigue
2 Aromatherapy Recipes for Fatigue to Support Your Energy All Day!
Feeling tired is your body's way of telling you it's time to rest.
But what if you're feeling tired all the time? As though even after a good night's sleep, you can't get your energy going, or you lose your energy after just a few hours of being up?
Feeling so tired can cramp your style.
I want to share a pair of Aromatherapy recipes for fatigue that can help restore your energy levels.
I chose essential oils that are great for infusing you with energy, clearing the head, bringing circulation, clearing away "stagnant energy," and helping your system feel more balanced overall.
First, let's make an all-over body oil . . .
Energize Me!
1 oz (30 ml) Jojoba Wax (Simmondsia chinensis)
6 drops Black Spruce (Picea mariana)
4 drops Lemon (Citrus limon)
4 drops Peppermint (Mentha x piperita)
4 drops Geranium (Pelargonium x asperum)
Use this body oil to surround yourself with these supportive essential oils all day.
It's good to use body oil because it's something you can apply, and then it stays with you until it absorbs into your skin.
I also like using Aromatherapy inhalers because you can keep them with you and use them as often as you need. Use your inhaler if you're not in a place where you can apply a body oil. Using these two Aromatherapy recipes for fatigue gives you an excellent system for keeping your energy up.
Energize Me! Inhaler!
4 drops Black Spruce (Picea mariana)
4 drops Lemon (Citrus limon)
3 drops Peppermint (Mentha x piperita)
4 drops Geranium (Pelargonium x asperum)
Let's talk about the essential oils I chose and why they're perfect in Aromatherapy recipes for fatigue.
Black Spruce is one of my favorite essential oils for low energy! It is just so great at releasing tension and easing achy muscles. It helps the body clear out old, stagnant energy while encouraging more vital energy flow.
Lemon is such a happy, vibrant essential oil! Just a whiff of it can make you feel more energized. It helps clear your head in a few ways—easing congestion and releasing old circuitous thoughts so you can think in happier ways.
Peppermint helps in this way, too. I like to compare Peppermint to a friend who doesn't want you to stay home alone when you could be out dancing or having fun! Peppermint helps open your breath, fill you with energy, and make you smile.
Geranium is a beautiful floral essential oil that can help balance our emotions. Floral oils tend to do that! Geranium is also often used to help our bodies' systems rebalance themselves (such as in the case of fluctuating hormones).
Using these Aromatherapy recipes for fatigue can offer a lot of vitality. Be sure to eat nourishing food, move your body in a way that feels good to you (like taking a walk or dancing!), and support yourself to get enough sleep.
Enjoy!
