How Christine found aromatherapy after IBM, motherhood, and a decade of health setbacks.
Since 2006, the year of my last pregnancy, I have been struck by dramatic health issues. I stood up and overcome all of them but with the recovery time and just tragic inertia, I found myself with an overall elapsed 14 years during which I felt I had achieved nothing. A very heavy perception to carry. One day I had a wake up call and I decided to go back to studying what interested me the most. Medical studies were of course out of question and so I was lucky to discover Aromahead!
I had always been attracted to the world of Perfumery and as such was very fond of a wide range of perfumes, with deep knowledge of their ingredients but still as an amateur. What I did not know is that there was a whole story behind these ingredients! And this is where essential oils knowledge made sense!
Yes, I am not a doctor and never will be. But with a deep knowledge of aromatherapy and natural interest and propensity to understand Science and Medicine, my new dream activity could become true: working hand in hand with doctors so that we could provide a perfect CAM to patients. The best of both worlds! I am now 52 years old, entering a new phase of my life with the will to make the best out of it.
First to write articles/posts and develop a network then open my own practice and hope to partner with doctors.
