Christine Gordon
Aromatherapy Certification Program graduateHow Christine deepened sixteen years of practice.
I am a licensed massage therapist with a full-time private practice in Seminole, FL. I have been in practice for 16 years, prior to which I was a teacher.
I taught in a public high school for 6 years and after a short time as a stay-at-home mom, went back to teaching taking an adjunct position at a local community college. Later I became part of the faculty at the Cortiva Institute and taught there for a few years before shifting all of my time and energy into my private massage practice.
I love what I do and searched for something that would enhance my current practice as well as give me a way to eventually serve clients off of the table. I am excited by the potential that my Certified Aromatherapist credentials will offer!
Fusion Massage Therapy, LLC
Fusion Massage Therapy is a solo practice located in Seminole, FL. My massage style is an integration of both therapeutic & relaxation techniques, which I enhance with aromatherapy via topical applications, inhalation, and customized personal blends for clients as needed and requested.
I have already begun incorporating aromatherapy into my massage business. In addition to offering aromatherapy for inhalation during a session, I have created a variety of small-batch massage oils and body butters to use in my sessions, as well as formulating custom blended products for a small number of clients. I intend to expand this offering to all interested clients and others in my community seeking such services.
I plan to offer a few proprietary blends for retail in my office and hope to eventually have a small online shop as well. Finally, I plan to incorporate my education experience with my knowledge of aromatherapy in the form of workshops, online training, and/or written articles for my website.
I really enjoyed my experience with Aromahead for a multitude of reasons. I liked the user-friendly format of the course, the content was extremely useful, and the personal pace was perfect for my schedule. I appreciate all of the information that I will have continued access to and the ability to print out such wonderful resource materials as the essential oil data sheets.
