How grief opened a new path for Denise.
After losing both my parents 4 months apart, I needed to find ways to help with grief and deal with the tremendous and unexpected losses. That was how my holistic journey began. Grief counseling, Reiki, Aromatherapy, and Acupuncture helped me tremendously with my own healing process. So, I decided to dive in headfirst and start studying Reiki and Aromatherapy and became a Certified Aromatherapist and Reiki Master Practitioner (Animal Reiki, as well). In addition, I completed a Crystal Certification Program and do Chakra Clearings.
A few years ago, I opened my own business Monarch Nature and is currently studying Sound Healing. Prior to that life change, my career was working in the Advertising industry as a Graphic Designer and Photographer for over 25 years.
Now, my focus and passion is to help people feel well, be happy and balanced and to assist others while they deal with life’s issues and illnesses that may arise. I hope to make a small difference in supporting people’s body, mind, and soul.
My other interests are travelling, yoga, photography, cooking and gardening. I loves being out in nature finding new adventures with my husband and puppy.
Monarch Nature
I love to do individual custom consultations for people. I also want to find ways to help people specifically with grief. I started doing aromatherapy workshops and selling some blends I've created.
My first and favorite blend I've made is called Heartache and I still use it every night, I roll it on my chest and heart area. It worked wonders for me during my most difficult years and would love to share that and support others.
There were many aspects of the program I thoroughly enjoyed, but my favorite part was doing the individual case studies. I feel that might be how I can make the greatest impact. Being able to work directly with individuals to address their personal and unique concerns.

The case studies came first
Working one-on-one through the certification's mentored case studies was the part she loved most.
