How pandemic insomnia turned Kevin into a blender.
Hello everyone! I'm a rising first-year undergrad student studying psychology at the University of Pennsylvania. I stumbled across Aromatherapy when the pandemic exacerbated stress and brought about nightly episodes of insomnia. Ever since I've been SUPER passionate about blending and the various oils in my aromatherapy palette. I don't hesitate to get the latest batch of oils (GC/MS of course). My wallet sure hates me right now ;).
Firmly grounded in safety concerns, I try to envision the oils that resonate with the client, and narrow down my selection. It's all about the consultation process, and I find great joy in conversing with clients about their daily troubles and health concerns.
I plan to incorporate aromatherapy into my lifestyle, and lend a helping hand to others when the opportunity arises. Through the Penn Integrates Knowledge (PIK) programs at UPenn, I hope to infuse aromatherapy into my current academic interests as well.
Aromatherapy has begun to grow in popularity, but it is still an art cherished by a few. Going forward, armed with the instruction provided by Aromahead, I will find novel ways to improve one's lifestyle. Whether that'd be a morning diffuser blend for a productive day, or a before-bed bath salt to relax one into ethereal slumber, aromatherapy provides me with the potential to make little changes in one's lifestyle that pays dividends in the long run.
I plan to create an aromatherapy store where I can create products and meet with clients for consultations and tailor-made blends. On the side, I'll be a supportive member of the Aromahead community and forums!
