How a retired teacher kept on learning.
I am a wife, mother and grandmother. I have a B.of Ed. majoring in Early Childhood Education and worked as a Kindergarten teacher for 30 years until retirement in 2006. My husband and I have travelled the world and most recently spent 5 1/2 months(2017/18) and 2 1/2 months (2019-20) doing educational volunteer work in Kenya.
I am a Feng Shui Consultant and teacher, Certified Space Clearer, Level I and II Reiki Practioner with plans to achieve my Master Reiki in Oct. of this year. I have just completed my Certification in Aromatherapy. I am 70 years old and call myself a life long learner.
When I saw a webinar on Facebook a number of years ago I knew I wanted to take the class. I enrolled while we were still in Africa. I could hardly wait to get home and get started.
I plan on using my knowledge of Aromatherapy in my Feng Shui, Space Clearing and Reiki practices. It will be a good fit and will enhance each of these areas.

No deadlines at seventy
Self-paced study meant her life set the pace, not a clock.
I liked that the course allowed you to go at your own pace. I am a 70 year old life-long learner so there was no hurry for me to complete it by a certain deadline.
Built in the right order
Lessons stack deliberately, each one a foundation for the next.
The course and facilitators were very welcoming, supportive, encouraging, well organized, easy to access, lessons were well thought out and in a consecutive order building on concepts necessary for building foundations for the content being taught.
