How Lisa brought health and beauty together.
I have had a lifelong fascination with health and beauty and how the two are linked together. I have dual careers as a registered nurse and licensed cosmetologist, now adding certified aromatherapist to truly bring health and beauty together for holistic wellness. I am so excited to embark on this leg of the journey!
As a nurse, I have worked in intensive care, in integrative care, as a nurse coach, case manager, and clinical reviewer. As a cosmetologist, I work independently as an organic color specialist, using plant-based products to support the health of the hair and scalp and to encourage the fusion of inner and outer beauty for each client.
I have been taking classes and studying both herbal medicine and aromatherapy for many years and finally took the leap to enroll in the Aromahead program to earn certification and deepen my knowledge and skills.
Essential Alchemy Aromatics
Essential Alchemy Aromatics offers therapeutic aromatherapy for holistic wellness of mind, body, and spirit. Individual consultations are offered, in which we examine what is and isn't feeling well in various areas of your life, and then identify and explore how the use of essential oils can help bring balance and support overall wellness.
Custom blending and individual instruction are included in every consultation. Also offered are classes and workshops for groups of 4 or more.
My goal is to educate my community on aromatherapy and to provide health and beauty products to enhance overall wellness.
My mom, besides being an incredible mother, role model, and my best friend, was the strongest, most sincere supporter of my herbal and aromatic studies. I lost her nearly two years ago and still miss her so very much every day. I've dedicated my business to her and I'm sure her beautiful spirit will continue to guide me on this path and enable me to connect with others in a positive, healing, holistic, and meaningful way.

Chemistry you can understand
The printed materials organize even the chemistry into concepts that make sense.
It covered so much (!) and organized complex subject matter (i.e., chemistry) into understandable concepts. It helped to make learning enjoyable and fascinating.
