Martha Brown
Aromatherapy Certification Program graduate“to help others find a more fulfilling path for themselves.”
How Martha found her fourth career.
I graduated with a degree in Art from East Tenn. State Univ., certified to teach grades K - 12. But these jobs were few and far between, so a 12-year career as a ceramist in a Dental lab paid my bills and allowed me to follow my heart around the US.
My next career was as a Quilt Artist, also lasting 12 years and earned several National and International Awards as well as a few solo exhibitions for my original fiber art. During this time frame I fell in love with a Canadian and relocated to Ontario and have been here since 1998, happily married with at least one black lab as our "child".
My 3rd career was along a similar path as an art doll artist and at this time I also began to organize annual fiber art exhibitions in a nearby city for 9 years. At the end of that career, a more spiritual path began to develop as I began to study New Age philosophies and became a Master Reiki Practitioner.
Alternative therapies became a focus as I saw how a more natural approach was so much easier on the body. Expertise with Essential Oils and addressing both spiritual and health issues for friends and family have now become my goals.
Blue Moon Mystic Arts
I have a home-based business providing Reiki treatments and Essential Oil blends to family and friends. I don't have a website, blog or teach, preferring my 4th career at age 63 to be something that is all pleasure with no pressure!
I do have a beautiful brochure for potential clients and require that they fill out an intake form before I mix up anything for them.
I found the Anatomy and Physiology Course a major eye opener. After each session I would walk away from the computer grateful and amazed at how the human body works and has evolved to be this amazing home for our souls. And so well presented - I look forward to reviewing the entire certification program once a year to keep updated on information I haven't used or absorbed. It's A LOT to take in and worth every penny!
