Suzanne Koett
Aromatherapy Certification Program graduate“Aromatherapy has the power to awaken our senses and bring us into the present moment.”
How Suzanne's art found aromatherapy.
As an artist, photographer, former art teacher, and operator of various small businesses I'm excited to use my skills to create a meaningful brand of aromatherapy products.
All of my artwork and life's work is centered around the human condition, the shared collective experience, and ways to support continued healing for us all. I'm looking forward to carrying this theme into my aromatherapy line and also as my work as an aromatherapist.
At first, I intended to make a line of natural perfume but after completing the certification course I switched gears because I really wanted to help people and felt natural perfume would feel limiting.
Eson Aromatics
Eson Aromatics makes small-batch aromatherapy products and custom blends that help usher the mind, body, and spirit towards a portal to inner peace. Eson is nose spelled backward. The olfactory nerve is located in the nose and is the quickest pathway to the brain.
Our aromatherapy products are carefully crafted with science and art to help support the mind, body, and spirit.
As of now we offer an Inner Peace body oil, a Wellness line, a Chakra line, and will be offering bespoke Seasonal items in the near future. As a certified aromatherapist, I'll be offering a custom blend service based on a customer's specific needs.
In order to maintain the highest respect for nature, we practice heart meditation before making any small-batch products or custom blends. Heart meditation serves as a connection to the plant even though it’s been harvested and is already in essential oil form.
All products are made in small batches, are hand-blended, and made in-house with the utmost care. We are passionate about healing and helping others heal. This resonance on an individual level is what helps create a thriving, healthy society for us all.
Aromahead provided me with a flexible learning environment, a variety of learning modalities (visual and hands-on), and the teachers were so helpful and provided great feedback on case studies, the paper, and the exam. I learned so much just from their feedback and suggestions! I particularly enjoyed Lesson 6, especially learning about Blending According to Plant Part and Blending from Different Perspectives.

What made the difference, in Suzanne’s words.
Suzanne came to the program as a working artist. Here is how the science and the art met for her.
Every way you learn, covered
Visual lessons, hands-on making, and real teacher feedback on the case studies, the paper, and the exam.

Blending from every angle
The coursework teaches more than recipes: whole perspectives on how a blend comes together.
I particularly enjoyed Lesson 6, especially learning about Blending According to Plant Part and Blending from Different Perspectives.
Chemistry that frees intuition
Once the chemical families made sense, her artist's instincts had solid ground to work from.
Once I had the knowledge of the chemical families of the oils, I was able to use my intuition and heart more when selecting certain oils for blends. I felt most connected to the plants this way, even with them not being in my physical presence.
A clear path, one step at a time.
Suzanne is a graduate of the Aromatherapy Certification (Pathway 3), earning her Certified Professional Aromatherapist credential. It is a cumulative path: each step includes everything before it, and you can climb as far as you like, at your own pace. See the full path →
