How Carol reinvented three decades of helping people.
Becoming a Certified Aromatherapist following a gratifying 30-year career as a clinical social worker/psychotherapist is part of my reinventing myself process. I had been thinking of completing the program for some time as plants and holistic wellness have always intrigued me from a very young age. I’m thrilled to have done so.
Additionally, I have completed Reiki Master/Teacher training and currently, I am also studying Bach Flower Remedies and crystal healing. All of these are integrated in various ways into my aromatherapy process.
Currently, I am creating and blending for myself, my friends, and those close to me. However, I hope to expand upon this and perhaps develop a small practice or business. My primary interests are in becoming a consultant and educator, particularly in teaching safe practices, promoting emotional wellness, and also in the area of natural skin care.

Warm support for real rigor
Her first research paper in over three decades came with genuine encouragement.
The support and encouragement received were provided in a warm, genuine manner, such as while writing a research paper for the first time in over 33 years.
From trepidation to enjoyment
The hard part became a favorite. Her paper served the people she spent a career helping.
After the initial trepidation, I found myself enjoying the process and completed my paper on The Use of Aromatherapy For Service-Related PTSD and Moral Injury.
A journey that continues
The certification opened a path she plans to keep walking.
I am looking forward to continuing my journey and hope to eventually complete the Teacher Training and Advanced Graduate programs.
