How a bottle of lavender started Chris's professional study.
I am a Level 2 Certified Aromatherapist and Organic Skin Care Formulator.
I began my studies into essential oils when, during a time of personal distress, a friend gifted me with a diffuser and a bottle of lavender essential oil. Two years and countless hours of reading and scouring the internet later I found Aromahead, and so my professional aromatherapy studies began.
To incorporate my background in organic skin care formulation, my ACP research paper was on Aromatherapy in Holistic Eczema Management. I am a graduate of several Aromahead courses, including the ACP and Teacher Training Program. I am currently working my way through the Graduate Program.

MOMAROMAs.com provides fun, educational articles on DIY essential oil blends, herbal wellness, and skin care. MOMAROMAs produces hand crafted, custom blended aromatherapy, herbal teas, and natural and organic skin care products to support clients on their journey towards mind and body wellness. MOMAROMAs formulations feature hand-crafted infused oils, glycerites, and hydrosols produced from organically home-grown or organically sourced botanicals.
I am currently building my business and have a number of clients who stemmed from my ACP case studies.
I work one-on-one with clients creating bespoke aromatherapy and skin care products to fit their needs. Every MOMAROMA's product is produced on-demand to ensure the freshest of ingredients and created specifically for the client using the Individual Prescription method.
In addition, with 20+ years of experience as an editor and writer, Chris uses her eagle editorial eyes to support aromatherapists, herbalists, and skin care formulators in creating website copy, product descriptions, and educational documents.
My favorite aspect of learning at Aromahead is the people—the amazing Community of educators and students who support one another on this journey of discovery. In addition, every Aromahead course makes learning fun and exciting in addition to providing research-based information and amazing personal insight. I am happy to be a perpetual Aromahead student!
