How a nurse's frustration became a hospital program.
As a nurse working on a busy Orthopedic/Neurosurgery inpatient unitI was frustrated with not being able to control my patients pain as well as I would have liked. After listening to a guest speaker at a staff meeting in July of 2011 talking about her experience with Essential Oils I knew I wanted to learn more. That was the beginning of my Essential Oils Journey.
Inow lead the Essential Oils program at Gundersen Health System in LaCrosseWisconsinwhere we offer Essential Oils to patients to help them when they are experiencing anxiety, nausea and pain.
Going through the Advanced Graduate program and taking courses to meet the requirements to complete the Scholars' program has given me such a strong foundation andI am so passionate about using Essential Oils in every facet of my life.
Not only do I get to enjoy Essential Oils in my professional life but mypersonal experience and client outcomes are just as rewarding.
Essentially Everything
When I asked my 11 year old granddaughter what I should call my Essential Oil business she replied, "well Essentially Everything of course because that is what you make with your Essential Oils."
I am in awe of the experience I have had with Aromahead. Every class has been amazing, every video not only educational but entertaining. I love that I can email a question and receive a response as though the person on the other end knows me personally.
