John Hamende
Aromatherapy Certification Program graduate“My background is in Molecular Biology and Analytical Chemistry, with my specialty being GC/MS.”
How a chemist found his way to the oils.
I have been providing quality & regulatory compliance consulting services to the life science industries the past 15 years; however, after seeing all the same problems time and time again in the life science companies I have consulted for, my opinion of that industry has been changing and makes me question if many of the products they make are really necessary.
I have been learning many things from my wife during her spiritual journey, and I now plan on taking my skills and experiences to the holistic world and begin making essential oil blends and teaching aromatherapy at her center.
My plan is to also become a consultant or advocate in the aromatherapy industry, in which I can use my business and quality/regulatory background to assist startup essential oil and aromatherapy companies get their business plans, procedures, and processes started and on the correct regulatory path to keep them out of trouble with the FDA.
Winds For Change Creative Healing Center, LLC
Winds for Change was started by my wife, Jennifer, about 5 years ago in our hometown of Fargo, ND. She had just started on her spiritual enlightenment journey at that time, and wanted to share her experiences and help others on their journey as well.
She is a Reiki Master, and also a certified Sound Therapy Healer and Toe Reader. We will now be adding Aromatherapy to the center's modalities, now that I am a certified aromatherapist.
What made the difference, in John’s words.
John came in as a working GC/MS chemist with sharp standards. Here is what won him over, in his own words.
Clear enough for anyone
A professional chemist on how the material reads: plainly, without the jargon wall.
The classes are put together very well, and the information is written in a manner that is very easy to understand.
Recipes you can run with
You leave with working recipes and the understanding to adapt them to new situations.
there are so many excellent recipes to get started with, and be able to adapt to various situations
One program leads to the next
Certification was not the end of his study here; the advanced path came next.
I am continuing on with my Aromahead studies, and will be finishing the Scholar's program soon.
A clear path, one step at a time.
John is a graduate of the Aromatherapy Certification (Pathway 3), earning his Certified Professional Aromatherapist credential. It is a cumulative path: each step includes everything before it, and you can climb as far as you like, at your own pace. See the full path →
Start where John started.
