Kim Heniadis
Aromatherapy Certification Program graduateHow Kim found the way in.
I have been using essential oils on and off for about 15 years. At first it was just in making natural cleaning products, but it progressed to health and beauty items eight years ago when I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Since I was having radiation treatments, I wanted everything else coming into my body to be as natural and healing as possible.
In 2017, I wanted to gather more knowledge as to why the essential oils worked with various conditions and parts of the body, so I decided it was time to become a Certified Aromatherapist. Friends and family we also increasingly asking me about which essential oils to use for various conditions they were experiencing, and I wanted to make sure I had the best information possible to give to them.
Besides being a Certified Aromatherapist, I also have completed courses in Introduction to Natural Health and Healing, and a course in Meditation. I am currently taking an Herbalism 101 course from the CommonWealth Center for Holistic Herbalism. When I complete that course, which consists of studying and working with over 85 individual herbs, I will be taking a course on Reflexology.
I live in Central Wisconsin, with my husband of 20 years, and our three cats. Also, when I'm not studying, I can be found buying and cataloging items at our local library. I'm happy to say, our Essential Oil, Herbal, and Natural Health book sections, are very well stocked!
