How Mao came back to the science she loves.
I am a mom of three children and love learning science. I studied biochemistry and nutrition in college. Since I had my first child, I had focused on taking care of my family for many years. As my kids got older, I really wanted to go back to school and start learning something I love, which was to learn holistic ways to heal people physically and emotionally.
I had used some essential oils just for diffusing when somebody in my family was sick, but I always wondered why and how they work. My desire to learn more deeply about essential oils kept growing and it was so fortunate that I was able to find Aromahead and started ACP.
My favorite thing to do is cooking using fresh ingredients that were grown organically and happily. Tasting and smelling when I cook are one of the most mindful moments in my daily life. To me, creating a blend with essential oils for someone is similar to cooking for someone. When I blend essential oils or cook, I always think of his/her preferences, health conditions, energy levels, personalities, mood, lifestyle, and the situation he/she is in and I can put so much love and positive energy into what I create and this is what I love to do.
I would love to continue learning about the amazing human body and the ways to maximize its ability to heal itself so that I will be able to help people stay healthy and have a happy life!
All the information in the course was well organized and clear. I enjoyed every single step! Case studies and the research paper were the hard parts for me, but I can’t even say how much I was able to learn from them and how confident I became after finishing them.
