How one hornet sting led Nina into aromatherapy.
I am a wife, mother, and grandmother. I work in a college environment and have a passion for learning. I have always had an interest in herbs, but when my daughter started using essential oils, they just seemed to blend in seamlessly with my herb interest.
One day as I was working outside I got stung numerous times by hornets. I went to the house and asked my daughter what she had to treat the pain and she grabbed her lavender essential oil to put on the stings. The pain was gone immediately. I was amazed and decided right then and there that I had to know more. Thus began my journey into aromatherapy.
