Phillip Calhoun
Aromatherapy Certification Program graduate“I am by nature a tinkerer and an explorer.”
How a tinkerer's balm for himself turned into a side business idea.
One of my favorite books is The Way Things Work by David Macaulay.
I also enjoy dining out at restaurants and food trucks, and then trying to recreate those dishes at home.
I first started working with essential oils while looking for natural ways to help with my various physical and mental woes.
I created a balm that I personally found so effective, that I decided to share some samples with family and friends. Many were so impressed with my balms that they encouraged me to consider making essential oil-based products as a side hustle business.
The excellent curriculum and timely feedback from engaged Aromahead instructors have given me confidence in my competence, and have provided me with a solid foundation for whatever direction my newfound aromatherapy passion may take me.

What made the difference, in Phillip’s words.
