Rebeca Ledersnaider
Aromatherapy Certification Program graduateHow Rebeca found the way in.
Born in a small town, in the middle of the Andes mountains, my adventures with aromas and flavors began at an early age. Always accompanied my mother and grandmother in the preparation of jams, candies, cookies and cakes, made from rose petals, lavender, rhubarb and Andean berries, among many others.
The scents from the kitchen, flooded continually our house, it was such an amazing experience!!My mother had this little game before tasting all these wonders, and I should always guess what they were made of, simple by smelling them. The scentof coffee, freshly ground, freshly brewed...Years later, I started to make simple preparations for my family, always using essential oils.
Fascinated with these experiences, I took some courses and workshops on aromatherapy and decided, early in my practice as an occupational therapist, to apply essential oils to blind and visually impaired people, to help both their sensory stimulation and their ability to concentrate, obtaining encouraging results. I also began to prepare mixtures for different conditions, from muscular aches and pains, arthritis, to insomnia and stress.
Thinking about sharing these experiences, I decided to expand my knowledge in aromatherapy, studying different approaches with different teachers until, at last, life found Andrea and her magical aromatherapy world.
