How one drop of Lavender changed Shannon's path.
I currently don't have a professional plan in regards to my Aromatherapy Certification. I plan to continue using and strengthening my knowledge to benefit my health holistically and integrate the use of essential oils with herbalism. I recently started a Herbal Immersion program and loving how much the two worlds intertwine!
For the past 10 years I have concentrated readily on my current career as a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist. I love my job and learning; for the past 10 years I have persistently studied with in my career venturing through different modalties of x ray, interventional radiology, mammography, MRI and computed tomography.
About a year ago I felt a shift with in myself; not knowing where this shift was going to bring me...The first place this "shift" brought me was Lavender oil. My co-worker used Lavender scent to calm a severely claustrophobic patient. I was incredibly amazed how affective it worked! And... my interested and love of essential oils was born.
It took some time for me to accept that I didn't need to be a LMT to truly use EO. Once I started my research on EOs I was stuck and couldn't stop :) My love for essential oils, natural living and holistic health has become a core part of my life in the past year.
