Shelly Coffman
Aromatherapy Certification Program graduate“My interest in essential oils started in beekeeping while assisting my husband collect swarms with Lemongrass Essential Oil as a homing scent.”
How Shelly turned a gluten-free life and a beekeeping hobby into aromatherapy study.
Hi, I am Shelly Coffman. I am a committed Gluten Free devotee (thanks to Celiac disease) who is passionate about good food, life-long learning, yoga, and essential oils.
My fascination with essential oils quickly escalated with a basic understanding of how they can be used in household and body care products. A very important tool for those who must completely avoid gluten!
I am currently enrolled in the Scholars Program at Aromahead Institute and am having several "ah-ha" moments with the continued education on natural health. I am enjoying every class experience!

A Clinical Aromatherapist in training!
What made the difference, in Shelly’s words.
Shelly came to Aromahead through a beekeeping mishap and gluten-free advocacy. Here's what made the coursework work for her.
Real life, real pace
Flexibility mattered to her more than anything.
There are many things I love about Aromahead Institute! First, I can learn at my own pace. This is really important for me as my schedule is not always predictable.
Clear, not overwhelming
The material stayed clear without dumbing anything down.
Second, the content of the classes is stellar. It is so easy to understand and comprehend.
The case study experience stood out
Applying the material with real guidance made it click.
Third, I absolutely loved my Case Study Instructor and participants. This is really where I was able to dig in and apply my knowledge.
