How Angela found a more purposeful life.
Who is Angie, in brief? Wow, what a question. I have been so many things, but I think today, I am the most authentic version of myself than ever before. In a nutshell, I'm a servant. I enjoy nurturing, comforting, and teaching. I enjoy sharing, giving, and empowering. I enjoy living, loving, and learning.
I am a warrior who relishes peace, harmony, and balance. However, I can become a force of fierceness if the need arises. While some have described me as tenacious, aggressive (for a woman), and oftentimes unapproachable, I am virtually a teddy bear, but you’d have to have the courage and patience to move in close for the discovery.
While I’m excited to be a certified aromatherapist (September 2018 graduate), I’m not absolutely certain how I’d like to use my new knowledge and skills now, outside of working on getting myself and my family exposed to the benefits of plant-based care (both my hubby and I are cancer survivors with lifelong physical challenges). I’m still studying and working on my blends and aromas towards overall wellness, and introducing into the mix an enlightenment around the sacredness of incense and plant-based wellness.
Ultimately, I’d like to teach aromatherapy and plant health and wellness to underserved communities, especially with the rising costs of healthcare. At a minimum, if we can do a better job and the routine medical irritants, we may be able to ward off a few of the major ones.
