Karen Sullivan
Aromatherapy Certification Program graduate“We plant the seeds of today, for the roots of tomorrow!”
How Karen brought aromatherapy home to Kapuskasing.
Karen Sullivan is an Algonquin from Timiskaming First Nation, Quebec, Canada, who owns Sullivan's Apothecary in Kapuskasing, Ontario.
Registered with a NAHA Certified Professional Aromatherapist and the Ontario-North Director and Registered Certified Reflexologist Therapist with the Reflexology Association of Canada (RAC).
Being the only certified Aromatherapist and RCRT in the community separates Sullivan's Apothecary apart! Karen specializes in reflexology lymph drainage designed for breast cancer and immune-compromised clients.
When I began my Aromahead Certified Aromatherapist course, I was eager and fresh out of my first aromatherapy training.
Sullivan's Apothecary is a charming shop located on Byng Avenue that offers aromatherapy and reflexology services with a retail section.
The Apothecary offers Indigenous medicines, holistic plants and whole teas, books, smudging articles, along with our aromatics at the new Aroma Bar to assist you with your creative side!
On any given day, you may wander by the shop and see her creating cedar leaf hydrosol in her copper still.
