Where allopathic treatment failed, essential oils roared!

Her story

How a critical-care nurse took control of her own healing.

I am a Registered Nurse with 33 years of experience in the Emergency/Critical Care specialty area. I was blessed many years ago, to have an incredible mentor that introduced complementary therapies to our small hospital. I embraced the opportunity to work with her, use these therapies (especially essential oils) and be a part of the design and implementation process for our facility.

Fast forward to 2016. I became ill (symptoms had been plaguing me for years) and the full-blown condition roared it's ugly head in my life. It has changed me forever. I took control of my illness and incorporated essential oils into my plan of care.

I am a mother of three adult children and two grandchildren. I introduced aromatherapy to them successfully. I have educated extended family and friends on the wonderful benefits of essential oils.

I am on a forever healing journey, passionate about what I do.

Aromahead was a godsend. The education I received has provided me an amazing opportunity to really learn about essential oils--not just because they smell great, but how their chemistry can have a profound, therapeutic impact on our well-being. Coupled with my nursing background, I can now proficiently incorporate oils into my general and healthcare routine.

The best parts of learning here

What made the difference, in Kathleen’s words.

Kathleen brought 33 years of emergency nursing to the program. Here is what it gave her, in her own words.

Chemistry with a purpose

The program goes past the pleasant smell into what the molecules actually do.

Built on her nursing

Thirty-three years at the bedside gave the coursework somewhere real to land.

Coupled with my nursing background, I can now proficiently incorporate oils into my general and healthcare routine.

A door to what's next

The certification opened a path she is still walking toward health coaching.

Someday, i hope to provide health coaching (incorporating aromatherapy) beyond family and friends, in an effort to decrease the toxicity of many household products/medicines that can overwhelm our bodies and truly make us sicker in the end.
