How Lourdes Margarita found her way in.
I enjoy discovering new ways to marry my love for aromatherapy with different forms of self-care like meditation, swimming, barre3, and other relaxing activities. Right now, I'm studying natural perfumery and organic skincare formulation.
I am fascinated by people who can explain science in fun and engaging ways. This is one of the reasons why I enjoy aromatherapy teachers who are also great science communicators. Because of them, my appreciation for the chemistry and biology part of aromatherapy has increased and now I am interested to become a clinical aromatherapist. I also hope to spark the love for learning in others through my practice.
In the next 5 years, I want to build a healing garden where I can receive clients for aromatherapy consultations. I also want to develop a line of luxurious aromatherapy products and items that can serve the concerns of the elderly and women.

This year, I am delighted to offer aromatherapy teleconsultation services via Skype or Zoom.
The most meaningful part of my aromatherapy certification program was doing the case studies because I learned so much from interacting with my clients. It required a lot of time, thinking, and open communication to develop safe and effective products and that helped me grow. In the anatomy and physiology class, my favorite topic was psychoneuroimmunology.
