Shannon Klipstein
Aromatherapy Certification Program graduate“My heart is full, and I feel passionate about everything I do.”
How Shannon built an intuitive practice.
I enjoy doing therapeutic massage and my style is very intuitive. I change up pressure and techniques throughout the massage according to what I am feeling on my client's body. I do a lot of trigger point release, myofascial therapy and joint mobilization. Upon request I love to add aromatherapy to the massage for my clients.
Outside of massage I have an associate's of applied science degree in surgical technology and am a U.S Army veteran. I was a print and photo journalist for 8 years in the military.
I completed my Aromatherapy Certification course through Aromahead institute in 2014. I obtained my massage license in 2015, graduated from Herzing University. I love working in the holistic field and plan to continue learning more and more as I go.
Im also a mommy of four of the absolute best kids in this world.
Kinetic Repose Integrative Massage
At Chiropractic Company-East Side of Milwaukee I am an independent contractor, licensed massage therapist. I do deep tissue and therapeutic massage at this location. Our clients are able to get a treatment plan including both massage and chiropractic.
I also own my own massage office in Greenfield, WI.
Currently I do trigger point therapy, joint mobilization, rockblades, some warm bamboo or basalt rock hot stone massage. I also do reflexology, aromatherapy massage and I have a basic knowledge in myofascial release.
What made the difference, in Shannon’s words.
Shannon brought a surgical tech's anatomy background and an Army veteran's discipline to this study. Here is what stood out for her.
Anatomy on a deeper level
She came in with surgical tech and massage training, and the anatomy coursework still went deeper.
I have gotten a lot of anatomy lessons through surgical tech and massage, but this was more in depth on a cellular level. I felt like I was learning a lot.
You make things from day one
The certification fills your own cabinets with real remedies that family, friends, and clients can try.
I had a lot of fun making so many things to fill my own cabinets and have other people try out.
Easy to follow throughout
Every lesson is built to be understood, not just completed.
Everything was easy to follow and understand.
