How Carla answered a calling to healing.
I believe that we all have specified callings, designated and God given. I know that mine are consistently dealing with "healing", physical, emotional and spiritual. I pursue the paths that I am called to and through the years those have been both traditional and non traditional ways.
Obtaining credentials is something the world recognizes so I achieved my BA, MEd, and coursework for my MMFT
Living in the country led me to the medical area's as we are pretty far from emergency medical access... so, as a grandmother with the heart to do it, I became certified in emergency medicine and volunteer with a local fire department in that capacity.
Being a child of the 60's I've used "oils" since those tumultuous days, and decided it was time for me to know more than just that they work. I wanted to be able to tell people "why" they work and be specific in my recommendations for them.
Now I am synergistically using essential oils as well as homeopathic remedies to address healing outside the systems of the world (even though I am truly blessed with faithful and brilliant medical people in my life. I use that tool as well.) Bottom line for me is this... God Almighty is the Healer and we simply get to use the gifts He has provided. I want to be a worthy steward of those gifts.
