How Kathy finally made time for her passion.
I have worked as a medical transcriptionist (now referred to as healthcare documentation specialist) for 30+ years, so am very knowledgeable about disease processes, anatomy, physiology, so I feel it gives me a good background. I was introduced to essential oils about 3 years ago and have been captivated since then.
I worked full time in transcription and wanted to get certified sooner but did not have the time. Due to an unfortunate event, my husband's death last year, I was able to stop working for awhile and then go to part time, so I decided to follow my passion of essential oils, since I now had the time to take the classes.
I am now a certified aromatherapist and feel absolutely blessed to be given this opportunity. I am just starting my adventure into this business, so I do not have a website yet, am just getting my feet wet first.

Services I provide as of now:Consulting. I am going to focus on selling essential oil blends specific to individual needs.
Education/classes. I am going get the word out there about essential oils and their benefits as well as safety issues and how to properly use them. Also would love to share knowledge on how to make some of these awesome products.
I loved everything I learned. I feel that the classes were very informative and I love the fact that I have access to all this information. I also need to participate in the blog more, I know this is a valuable tool as well. The Anatomy and Physiology classes were awesome for me, as with all my years of transcription, I knew all the terms, but don't always put everything together, and this tied everything in wonderfully for me.
