How a military career led Lois back to the plants.
Growing up a military brat and traveling all over the world I was exposed to "alternative medicines." Once I joined the US Army I got away from that.
Once I retired from the US Army I was shocked when my first shipment of medication arrived. Each medicine had several pages of warnings. I remembered what I had seen in other parts of the world and decided to explore essential oils as an alternative to the medications being prescribed to me.
I was introduced to Aromahead Institute through the Introduction to Essential Oils class and knew I had found the direction I wanted to go in. After completing the ACP Certification I went on to complete Animal Practitioner Training. Since completing the ACP course I have had to opportunity to work with fellow veterans dealing with PTSD and the aches and pains that go with the job.
