Warm up with this Epicurean Holiday Spice Diffuser Blend!

Making a diffuser blend for the holidays?

Spice essential oils are the perfect ingredients!

Diffusing spice essential oils not only sets a fun mood—they can get your body's energy flowing on cold, dark days.

Spice oils help to stimulate circulation, sharpen mental focus, and bring out your inner sense of confidence and courage. They give you fire!

This Epicurean Holiday Spice Diffuser Blend makes it smell like you've been cooking up tasty treats all day (even if you never had time to turn on the oven). And because spice oils can help calm spasms, diffusing this blend supports digestion and settles your stomach.

Use this diffuser blend for the holidays to create a festive holiday aura for gatherings or to enjoy a cozy evening.

Epicurean Holiday Spice Diffuser Blend

  • 5 drops Green Mandarin essential oil (Citrus reticulata)

  • 3 drops Cinnamon Bark essential oil (Cinnamomum zeylanicum)

  • 3 drops Nutmeg essential oil (Myristica fragrans)

  • 2 drops Geranium essential oil (Pelargonium graveolens var roseum)
    Favorite Diffuser

SAFETY NOTE: Cinnamon Bark and Nutmeg should be avoided during pregnancy and breastfeeding, and I suggest avoiding diffusing around babies and young children. Instead, use 6 drops of Tamala essential oil (Cinnamomum tamala ct linalool). Tamala is a very gentle oil that smells a lot like cinnamon.

Let's look at the essential oils in this diffuser blend for the holidays.

  • Green Mandarin oil (Citrus reticulata) smells very similar to Orange—but has a more profound, quieter presence. (Imagine being in an Orange orchard at night.) It adds a dash of warm citrus to our diffuser blend for the holidays. This oil is rich in a component called d-limonene, which has been researched for its ability to support immune health and inspire happy feelings. Green Mandarin also has spasm-soothing effects, making it a perfect complement to the spicier oils in this diffuser blend.

  • Cinnamon Bark oil (Cinnamomum zeylanicum) has a powerful aroma! It smells just like the kitchen spice, and a few drops go a long way. This oil is emotionally stimulating in a way that helps relieve stress. It also stokes your immunity and can get the energy in your belly moving, so digestion feels easier.  Cinnamon Bark contains over 50% of an aldehyde component called cinnamaldehyde. Aldehydes can be very irritating to the skin and mucous membranes. Using just 3 drops of this oil in your diffuser gives you cinnamon's warm, encouraging presence. That said, be aware of your body's reactions while using this holiday diffuser blend. If your nose or eyes start to feel irritated, turn off the diffuser. I suggest avoiding this oil during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

  • Nutmeg oil (Myristica fragrans) A dash of nutmeg invigorates the body, filling you with warmth and comfort! Despite being stimulating, Nutmeg oil's effect isn't too energizing. Rich in uplifting monoterpenes, this is an oil for cozy evenings and relaxing after big holiday meals. And thanks to Nutmeg's spasm-calming effects, it can also help calm your belly. Like Cinnamon Bark oil, use Nutmeg cautiously (and avoid it during pregnancy and breastfeeding). It can irritate the skin and mucous membranes.

  • Geranium oil (Pelargonium graveolens var roseum) adds a sprinkle of soft, floral scent to our Epicurean Holiday Spice Diffuser Blend! Like other floral oils, Geranium is used for emotional balance, allowing for fuller self-expression and a genuine connection with others. Rich in monoterpenols, Geranium oil also releases blocked energy, allowing smoother circulation throughout the body. This especially benefits the belly! And since it moves energy so well, it can help you feel warm on chilly days.

Enjoy your diffuser blend for the holidays!

I hope this brings a sweet aura of joy and light to your home.
