Aromahead Weekly is our free weekly email series. Each month focuses on a specific essential oil, and every week you learn a new way to use the oil and a recipe.
This stomach pain recipe is from September 2019—our "oil of the month" was Yarrow.
Yarrow's "Little Bit o' Blue"Belly Oil
1 oz (30 ml) Jojoba Wax (Simmondsia chinensis)
8 drops Bergamot Mint essential oil (Mentha x citrata)
6 drops Yarrow essential oil (Achillea millefolium)
4 drops Coriander essential oil (Coriandrum sativum)
Make this blend in a 1 oz (30 ml) glass bottle. Combine the jojoba and essential oils and shake gently. Massage it into your belly and low back when you've eaten something that doesn't agree with you.

Basil's "Pat Your Head and Rub Your Belly" Inhaler
7 drops Basil ct. linalool essential oil (Ocimum basilicum ct. linalool)
5 drops Bergamot Mint essential oil (Mentha x citrata)
4 drops Peppermint essential oil (Mentha x piperita)
This is a great essential oil recipe for stomach pain AND for headaches! (Especially if you have both at the same time.)
To make it, put the essential oil drops on the cotton wick of an Aromatherapy inhaler. Slip the cotton into the inhaler's "sleeve" and snap the cap into place.
I made sure to include something for everybody (and every belly) here. I hope you find a new favorite out of these 4 essential oil recipes for stomach pain!
