How To Make Sports Massage Oil with Jojoba
An essential oil recipe to soothe sore muscles
Make sports massage oil with jojoba and ease tired, tight muscles naturally!
Have you ever had a day full of fun physical activities—maybe playing sports with friends or working out for a while at the gym—and then come home and just knew you were going to feel it the next day?
It can be such a good feeling knowing your body has gotten such exercise, but the sore muscles that sometimes follow aren't as much fun.
I have a recipe for you to make sports massage oil to use on sore, tired, strained muscles.
This is great to massage with before the aches set in, but it can also provide so much relief if your muscles do start complaining. You can use it on yourself, a friend, or anyone who comes to you for a massage.
This Ease Sore Muscles Naturally sports massage oil with jojoba makes 2 oz (60 ml). I make it right in a 2 oz (60 ml) glass bottle.

Why this massage oil blend is so effective
This sports massage oil with jojoba uses some of my favorite muscle-soothing essential oils. Roman Chamomile is my all-time favorite oil for muscle spasms, and Peppermint has wonderful cooling properties (think "icy hot").
Not everyone would immediately think to go to Ravintsara for sports massage oil, but it's a great addition to this recipe. Ravintsara is similar to Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus globulus) but has a softer aroma and has an effective pain-reducing, anti-inflammatory action.
It can be nice to bring a bottle of this sports massage oil with jojoba to the gym with you, just so you have it on hand when you might really need it.
I made a video of this recipe on YouTube because I know it can be helpful for some people to actually see the recipe being made and follow along.
