This recipe inspires energy and purifies the air, but once you know how to make your own room spray with essential oils, you can customize it to whatever purpose you like.
Let's get to the recipe!
(Then I'll tell you more about the essential oils in it and what they can do.)
Energizing Room Spray with Essential Oils!
This is a recipe to inspire energy and purify the air.
Ingredients
2 fl oz (60 ml) Water (distilled or filtered)
15 drops Bergamot Oil (Citrus bergamia)
15 drops White Pine Oil (Pinus strobus)
10 drops Ravintsara Oil (Cinnamomum camphora ct. 1,8-cineole)
6.4 ml Solubol (dispersant)
Equipment
One 2 oz (60 ml) PET plastic spray bottle
Directions
Put the water in the spray bottle.
Add the essential oils and solubol.
Close the bottle, and shake gently.
You're done! Spray it all around your room!
If you like, you can use an aromatic hydrosol instead of water as the base of your room spray.
A few beautiful options would be:
... Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia)
... Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus globulus)
... Blood Orange (Citrus sinensis)
After making your room spray, you may notice the essential oils floating on the water. This is natural. (Oil and water don't mix.)
If you want to keep the essential oils more dispersed through the water (or hydrosol), add Solubol to your room spray.
Solubol is a natural dispersant. I suggest using 4 drops of Solubol for every 1 drop of essential oil in your room spray. In this case, that would be 160 drops of Solubol (or approximately 6.5 ml).
I also recommend making this blend fresh every 2-3 weeks. (But I bet you'll use it all up long before that!)

What benefits do these essential oils have?
Using this natural room spray with essential oils regularly can—of course!—fill your room with a gorgeous aroma.
Let's talk about the benefits the essential oils in this recipe add.
All three essential oils can help:
Support respiratory health and immunity
Reduce germs in the air
Inspire mental clarity and bright, positive energy!
They also each bring their personalities to the room spray.
Bergamot essential oil (Citrus bergamia)
Bergamot is a beautiful, warm, sparkling citrus oil! It creates feelings of relaxation and happiness.
A room spray is a perfect recipe for bergamot because it does not go on our skin. In topical blends, bergamot is phototoxic—causing skin reactions in sunlight. There's no concern about that in a room spray.
White Pine essential oil (Pinus strobus)
There's something so fresh, crisp, and clean about the aroma of conifer essential oils! It reminds me of being out in the woods on a clear day. White pine is no exception.
It helps clear the mind, allowing space for inspiration and reflection, like a day spent in the forest.
Ravintsara essential oil (Cinnamomum camphora ct. 1,8-cineole)
The fresh, penetrating scent of Ravintsara oil may remind you of Eucalyptus—and with good reason! Ravintsara contains t,8-cineole, which is also the main component in eucalyptus globulus.
Ravintsara can help you feel more confident and mentally sharp, motivating you to greet the day with energy.
Have fun using your new room spray with essential oils!
And don't hold yourself back from getting creative and customizing your room spray. Just stick to the basic recipe proportions and drop counts suggested here, and you'll do great!
